Simulate Smart Switch
This simulates the behavioir of the Smart Switch Plugin but that operates motion only at night.
When motion is detected at night turn the Light on than off after 10 minutes.
If the light switch is is turned on-off-on or on-off-on-off (with at least 1 second between each transition) than the auto on/off based on motion is suspended for 1 Hr and then if it is on, it will be turn off.
You will need the following:
- A Program Logic Event Generator that will be setup as follows:
- Trigger -
Night; When Day Or Night Plugin indicates night
LightOn; When the Switch is turned On
LightOff; When the Switch is turned Off
Motion - Motion Detected
- Condition -
MultiOn = LightOn @ 2 < 30
MultiOff = LightOff @ 2 < 30
AutoOn = Motion and Night and ((Not MultiOff) or (LightOff; Now > 1:00:00)
AutoOff = (MulitOn and (LightOn; Now > 1:00:00) or ((Not MultiOn) and (LightOn; Now > 15:00)
- An AutoOn Scene, that will turn on the light(s).
You will need a Trigger for this scene based on this Program Logic Event Generator where the condition satisfied is AutoOn
- An AutoOff Scene, that will turn off the light(s).
You will need a Trigger for this scene based on this Program Logic Event Generator where the condition satisfied is AutoOff
Motion based activity at night turns the light on than off after 15:00 minutes.
If you turn the light on-off-on in less than 30 seconds than than leave the lights on for 1 Hour. Then revert to auto schedule.
If you turn the light off-on-off in less than 30 seconds than than leave the lights off for 1 Hour. Then revert to auto schedule.
Note:The light needs to be off for more than 1 second ... So the event times will be at least 1 second apart. The resolution of event times is 1 second.
